So this past weekend, the kids and I, went to Austin to see my parents and relax for the 4th! We had a fabulous 5 days! Thatcher has been dying to get out in the "big" boat (vs the "little" boats, aka "wave runners") since they got the house and this was the big weekend! He could not contain himself.....that is UNTIL we got out on the lake. "There were just too many waves" he said, or should I say cried. He was ready to call it a day, pretty quickly, but at least we got a little ride on the "little" boats too. Maybe next time he'll be a little more in to it. Neither of my kidos were really boat goers. I grew up skiing at two, but both Thatch and Juliet might have been better off leaving the on the dock! Other than that we really had a great time. My brother came up (with some friends) and my cousins, my uncle, my great aunt & uncle and my Nana all came up too! It was a full house, but it was great to see and be with everyone.

I hope that you all had a great 4th as well!

Thatcher just loves to "cook" with my mom and she found the cutie little apron last time we were there.

"Unc Penc" as Thatch calls him, with Juls.

My cute uncle brought sidewalk chalk to play with Thatcher. My parents actually have a pebbly drive, so they had to revert to the deck, but aren't they cute!

My cousin Danielle with Spike here!

Thatch and G-Dad washing the "big" boat!

Little Juls bathing away in the sink...

And yes, that's my 2 yr old in the sink too. He actually crawled up a chair and started taking his clothes off, all by himself, to take a bath in the sink! My silly Goof-ball!

Brotherly love! I love it!

My little non-boaters...
(she's out and he wishes he were)

This is what my brother does to play with my kids.....he's got her in a rolling cooler! Anybody need a babysitter????

This is the life....A little higher Thatch!

Juliet fell in love with this little rocker. She had a bit of a problem getting turned around right, after she crawled into, but who cares....she definitely doesn't.

My TV baby, in her rocker....

Last weekend, Reif & I flew to Milwakee, WI for a wedding of a friend of ours, from Law School (that he was in). My cute Dad and brother, drove in to keep Juliet and Thatch for us, so that we could attend (thank you again Dad and Spenc). It was a wonderful weekend and we had the best time! The weather was amazing up there, especially compared to our hot Texas summers! We saw friends that we had not seen in a couple years, got all dressed up, stayed out late and had a blast! We can't wait to all get together again soon!

Nikki & Colby are two of my best friends from St. Louis!

Austin with Friends!

A few weeks ago, we kicked off out summer by meeting some goods friends of ours (from Law School)  in Austin to visit my parents at their lake house.  Unfortunately Andrew and Reif couldn't make it, but Colby and I had a blast with our kids!

Our first night at one of my favorite resturants The Oasis, overlooking Lake Travis!

I loved this picture of my dad and the kids!

Cutie, Little Peter and his Mommy, Colby.

Yes, that's my 22 year old brother in the wagon with the kids, being pulled by my dad!

Thatch and Juls with Gam and G-Dad in the wild flowers.

Colby and I with our boys.

Spenc and Thatch posing with a fabulous antique car in Fredrickberg.

Juliet's first time in the pool!

I thought that this was a pretty funny picture!

Peter and Thatch at the front of the boat.  They seemed to love the wind  and watching for other boats and the little door, was just perfect for both of them!  Unfortunately our boat day was pretty chilly so we could not get in, but we still got to enjoy a little ride.

The infamous pots and pan drawer!

When we got home, we spent a day at our neighborhood spray park.
Here's Thatch, shooting me with a water gun!

Peter checking out a pool toy!

Happy Easter!

Hope that you all had a wonderful Easter.  Ours was very good, and very low key.  We had the morning to ourselves and then went over to the Chron's and hunted eggs (our yard was too wet to be trudging around in).  Thatch is in love with hunting eggs!  We've probably hunted them everyday this week in the front yard.

Checking out their stashes!

In the hunt...

Picture with Daddy.

Juls found one!
(but couldn't get it off the window, w/o a little help, darn egg)

Just one of the few pictures of his face that I got.
Our cute little blue eyes.

Oh no, the Easter Bunny had my baby!

Somebunny and me!

Not the happiest of Easter bunnies...

One of my closest friends got married on the 4th, to a fabulous guy, and I am so blessed to have been apart of it!  It was a spectacular wedding and I wish the new Mrs. Katherine Smith and her hubby Justin the absolute best!

The wedding happened to be in Austin, not too far from my parents lake house so we spent the rest of the weekend with them.  Every time we are there, Thatcher just has the best time.  It is such a fun place for a little guy.

Kat and her Daddy Dr. Bujnoch.  It's the surroundings beautiful!

Reif and I, and my parents at the wedding.

Juls and her Grandad

The boat's new bow ornament!

Aren't boys and their Daddys just so cute!

Another priceless picture...my Dad and my son!
(Thatcher just could not get enough to the blower.  It was big stuff!)

My parents neighbor up there is a pilot and he invited Thatch to the hanger to see the planes he flys.  Thatch was on cloud 9!  It was really fun to watch him.

He's ready to go...

I know, it's scary!
