Moving UpDate and Pictures

Just to update everyone....we found a house!  Well actually a lot with a house to be built on it, so we are building again.  We put a deposit down on the lot last week, right before we left for Hawaii (Reif and I went on our first trip post Juliet without the kids), and our house is going up on the market in the next week or so!  Things are definitely in full swing and moving fast!  Reif also started his new job on Thursday and has lots of work ready and waiting for him!  I am so proud of him and thrilled for this opportunity!
On the kido front, Juliet started crawling a few weeks ago and has since perfected it and is even starting to pull up a bit on things around her.  I cannot believe that she is almost 8 months old! And Thatch is now telling us (he says reading us) stories every time he finds a book, magazine or anything that resembles a book, they all begin...once apon a time...the princess...
It is so stinkin cute!  I love having kids!!!

Here are a few recent pictures.  Hope that all is well with everyone!

Thatch loves him truck and Juliet loves riding with him!  It's super cute!

Guess What?!?!

Ok, I don't typically post much other than pictures of "our" adorable children, but I do have some new and exciting news and the easiest way to tell everyone is to post it!  Reif just accepted a new job offer yesterday. He will be the general council for a company, called Halo Inc., in Allen (Dallas for those of you not familiar with N. TX)!  I am so thrilled for him and extremely proud!  This a huge offer, especially having just graduated law school not even two years ago!  He has put in his notice with Kelly Hart and will start his new job when we get back from our Hawaii trip in a few weeks!  AND dun-dunna-na....we are going to be moving.....AGAIN!!!  Yikes!  The move will definitely be exciting, but we will be leaving behind some very special friendships and neighbors that we have built and met here over the last year and a half.  It is definitely bitter sweet.  Lots of prayers for my sanity while I try to pack up this house with two little ones unpacking behind me!

Farewell to the Ranch

Reif's family is selling their family ranch so a few weekends ago the whole family went up there for one last HooRa!  It was really fun getting to hangout and play around with everybody one more time and Thatcher and Juliet had a great time playing with all of the cousins!  Here are some photos from the weekend!

Yes, Thatch is in princess skirt and he is thrilled about it!
It's tough when there are 12 girls and only 4 boys!
He had a blast with Halle and Karis (two of the cousins closest to his age).

One night we bathed 5 of them together, but these three were the only ones who made it the entire bath.  The little ones were done pretty quick!

That night we made smores.  Thatch loved it.....well he loved the chocolate.  I think that he may have snuck an entire bar!  At least he did share some with Juls.

And then he made himself comfy in the middle of the counter to finish everything off!

Juliet's first smore experience!

Thatch and I got a little crazy on the gator and loved it!

All Thatch can think about is riding the tractor when we are there.  He and Reif went on a few trips and once he even got out of the front door without anyone noticing and was heading down the gravel road in his diaper heading for it!  (I know good mom, Meagan!)

A boy his dog and his true love...

This is where Juliet spent a lot of her time, just bouncing and watching the chaos of kids running around all around her.  She loves to bounce!

We're really sad to say goodbye, but are very thankful for all of the memories!

I hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas!  Thatcher is really starting to get into everything and it made this year really special, especially since we had a new little one to enjoy it with as well.  We made cookies for Santa, put out food for the reindeer and even set up a nativity set Christmas Eve.  Thatcher was so excited about it all!
On a side note, it has been quite a while since I sat down at my computer to make some new posts, so bear with me.  I have our Christmas set of pictures and then a few other posts after them that are new as well.  Enjoy and we wish you all a very Happy New Year!!!

Christmas Eve we gave Thatch a Little People nativity set and he loved it.  He learned about Baby Jesus in church and looks for him every time we see a nativitysomewhere.  He played with it forever, setting everybody and all the animals up in different positions.

In school they made reindeer food, so we spread that out all over the yard for the reindeer!

This is our best Christmas morning shot.
We couldn't seem to get Thatcher to sit still....go figure!

Santa did bring the ball pit for Thatch,
but Juls really loved it, so I think that she claimed it!

Check out my little construction worker (and my big one in the background)!

This was our from our Christmas in Houston, with my family.  We went down for several days and Reif could not make it, so it was just the kids and I.
(again, Thatch is on the move)

Juls and her Great Grand-Nana!

Thatcher playing with a my brother's remote control helicopter.
He loved it!

Cooking with Gam.
(He loves to get on his little stool and help cook.
Mom's really nice and lets him get all kids of junk out to play with.
Aren't grandparents nice!)

Getting Ready for Christmas

Here are a few pictures of our cute kidos, leading up to Christmas.
We hope that you all had a great holiday!

Our most recent little gift, "sitting" among the other presents!

Playing in their cute little reindeer shirts that they made.

I love the antlers on Juliet's.  Their a bit muddled, but priceless!

Love under the Christmas tree!

Thatcher is putting on his stocking.  He thought it was a sock!

Food Finally!

My little "Chunky Monkey" was needing a little more sustanance (believe it or not) so we went ahead and started her on cereal.  As it always is, we started out a little rocky, but she quickly turned into a pro!  I can't keep the spoon full.

We're excited...we're anxious...we're waiting...

And uh oh......YUCK!

But then again, not so bad.
.
Much better now! ( a few days later)

She's very proud of her rolling over.
Her arms a little stuck, under her barge of a body, but we're good!

So these are a bit dated, but cute nonetheless!  Hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and that your Christmas is even better!!!

It's tough to pose for Christmas pictures with you baby sister!

Watching the games with Dad.

Somebody found the chocolate cake (and something to stand on), when no one was looking!

I'm just too cute!

Yes, I am in a skirt and pearls!  What can I say with 14 girl cousins
(but I do have my skeleton pjs underneath)!

Engine trouble in the purple wrangler (except the engine is in the front).

Thatcher loved riding around with Dad in the Gator!
